Step 1: Getting BT Mobile

All our plans let you bring your own phone. That means you can keep your much-loved phone with all your photos, music and apps on it. To get started, go tobt.com/mobile. Pick a plan that’s best for you and choose the right size SIM for your phone.
Once you've ordered, we'll send you a confirmation email with your order reference number.
We'll email you again when we've posted your SIM. We'll send it to you first class so it should be with you in 1-2 business days. It fits through the letterbox and you don't have to sign for it, so there's no need to wait in.
If you order before 5pm on a business day we’ll send out your SIM there and then.

Step 2: Your welcome pack

You’ll get your welcome pack in 1-2 business days. It includes your SIM, plus a few tips to get you started.
Now activate your SIM at bt.com/go

Step 3: Activate your SIM

You can activate your SIM online in two steps. Check the ‘Things to know’ as you go through.
We’ll text you once the SIM is ready to go.

Step 4: Keeping your number

To keep your old number when you switch to BT Mobile, you’ll need to check your phone is unlocked and get a PAC code from your old provider.

Step 5: Manage your account

Once you’re up and running, you can keep tabs on what you’ve used and set monthly spend caps so you don’t get surprise bills. Just log in at bt.com/mymobile
