Eat more fruits and veggies
A recent study of Japanese-Americans revealed that consumption of fruit and vegetables juices can help people to prevent Alzheimer’s disease over a period of 7-9 years. Some vegetables like the ale, spinach, and mustard greens have high content of foliate and B9, which help in enhancing cognition and reducing depression. The foods also contain high amounts of iron, magensium and potassium, which boost bodily functions and the overall neuron firing. With choline that boosts acetylcholine, the brain can be more active and sharp for longer periods of time. Pumpkin, squash, tomatoes, carrots and beets are important for preventing Alzheimer’s for the long term.

Reach for berries
Berries have high content of biologically active components, including anthocyanosides, which are known to repair memory since it is associated with beta-amyloid plaques present in the brain. Berries can help protect the brain from damage caused by free radicals. Berries also have anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidants along with a lot of important vitamins.
